ISE 2011 Live Coverage by Albert Theuwissen

Albert Theuwissen talks about his first day impressions at 2011 Image Sensors Europe converence at London, UK. Sony presented it 16MP 1.12um-pixel BSI sensor with a complex 2x4 pixel sharing scheme resulting in 1.375 transistors per pixel. Sony also proposes a new Moore law: image sensor speed improves by a factor of 2 every 3 years.
